High-Performance Green Building Salon

USGBC New York USGBC New York is proud to administer the long-established and well-known High Performance Green Building Salon series. These monthly events educate the green-building community on highly anticipated general subjects.  Due to their longtime involvement with the Salon, we recognize the Environmental Business Association of New York State as an honorary sponsor of the series.

Master Classes in Sustainable Design

Sponsored by Haworth, these highly-anticipated quarterly lunchtime presentations are where masters in the field of sustainable design discuss the history of their work to inform and enlighten seasoned green building professionals.

Sustainable Cities Dialogue

Sponsored by United Technologies Corp. (UTC), the Sustainable Cities Dialogue engages some of New York City's most important institutions and sectors (government, media/cultural organizations, academia, the real estate industry and finance industries) in focused, high-level discussions and presentations on green building.

Oppositions

Beginning quarterly in 2009, Oppositions will assemble key thinkers from around the country to focus on cutting-edge and controversial green design topics. Following each program, USGBC New York will prepare a white paper for its members on the issues covered.

LEED Technical Reviews (Workshops)

Bimonthly LEED technical reviews (workshops) teach the basics of sustainable design, provide an in-depth review of LEED, and prepare individuals to take the exam to become a LEED Accredited Professional.
